Player Ratings: Arsenal 3- 1 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal ran riot in the North London Derby, scoring three goals in quick succession to see out a dominant 3-1 victory over Spurs. New boys Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White all excelled but it was the youth products Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka who stole the show.

Aaron Ramsdale: Barely troubled in the opening exchanges, made a great stop to deny Son from a tight angle. Performed a great reaction save and even got a hand to the Son goal.  7.0/10

Takehiro Tomiyasu: Utterly assured down the right flank getting up and down with ease. Solid at the back, not letting anything get past him until late in the game when he was pulled out of position for the Spurs goal. 7.0/10

Ben White: A big early tackle to set the tempo and while he looked in control for much of the game, there was a penalty shout for a foul on Kane. Completed almost all of his passes and helped orchestrate from deep. 7.0/10

Gabriel: Excellent reading of the game and seemingly in the right position at the right time, every time that Spurs got forward. Led with confidence from the back. 7.0/10

Kieran Tierney: Darted down the left at every opportunity and fired in some decent crosses. Played a key role in the second goal, releasing the ball to Auba to get things moving. 7.0/10

Granit Xhaka: Quiet but consistent, breaking up play and getting the team moving in the tough moments. Unfortunate to come off with an injury. 6.5/10

Thomas Partey: Back in the XI and made a great start, testing Lloris from distance with a stinging effort. Strong in his tackles and helped keep the Spurs threat to a minmum. 7.0/10

Martin Odegaard: Really bright from the off, pulling the strings, orchestrating Arsenal’s forward play and while he didn’t get a goal, his overall work-rate was excellent.. 7.0/10

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Pressed early on and kept the Spurs backline busy. Played the most sublime of through balls for Smith Rowe before sprinting into the box to finish his chance. Had a chance for a second and was exceptional throughout. 8.5/10

Bukayo Saka: Took little time to make a difference – Set up Smith Rowe for the easiest of finishes on the opening goal before taking his own goal with a tidy finish. Tore into Spurs at every chance and had the beating of Reguilon throughout.  8.5/10

Emile Smith Rowe: Looked fired up from the beginning and took his finish brilliantly for the opening goal before setting up Aubameyang for the second. Was lethal in attack and even tracked back to snuff out the few efforts Spurs had. Excellent. 9.5/10
