Serie A side Udinese are on the verge of completing a loan deal for Arsenal’s Brazilian defender Pablo Mari. The 28-year-old is surplus to requirements and will leave the club in January will Italy the likely destination.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that a deal is almost complete and Mari will move on loan. The deal does not include an option or obligation to buy the defender outright at the end of the season.
Mari has struggled for playing time, making just a handful of appearances this season, largely from the bench. A previous report highlighted that Mari is looking to continue his career in Europe, despite links to Brazil.
