Promising Arsenal youngster Miguel Azeez looks set to stay at Arsenal next season despite a previous suggestion that he could be loaned out. The 18-year-old attracted a lot of attention following his positive senior debut against Dundalk in the Europa League last season.
Azeez has returned to pre-season training this summer having worked on various aspects of his game, including his physicality.
The initial suggestion was that he would be loaned out in the upcoming season in an effort to get more experience in a senior squad.
Football London now report that his impressive work over the course of the summer means that he may well stay with the Arsenal senior squad for the 2021-22 season.
The report suggests that Azeez has come on under academy manager Per Mertesacker and is touted as a player for the future.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta fielded the youngster against Watford in a recent and he duly repaid his manager by scoring one of the goals in their 4-1 victory.
