Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun could make the switch to Championship club Middlesbrough in the January transfer window. The youngster has made a handful of appearances since making his debut in 2020 and could move out on loan.
The 20-year-old is one of Arsenal’s brightest prospects but has mostly featured from the bench this season. Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth reports that Boro are keen on signing Balogun on loan in January. He also reveals that Boro boss Chris Wilder tried to sign Balogun during his time at Sheffield United.
A number of other Championship sides also want to sign the youngster, as well as Ligue 1 side Saint Etienne.
Balogun scored 25 goals and provided 4 assists in 19 appearances for the youth team in the 2018/19 season.
