Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is close to completing a loan move to Real Betis for the remainder of the season. The 26-year-old has been pushing for a move away since the start of the summer as he wants to feature for Spain at the World Cup.
The Athletic now report that a loan deal to Betis is very close to being completed however it doesn’t include an option to buy.
It’s understood that Bellerin has agreed a pay-cut in order to facilitate the move and is expected to undergo a medical this afternoon before flying to Spain later today.
The Spanish international has been at Arsenal for close to a decade, making 239 appearances and scoring 9 goals in 9 seasons with the club.
