Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace want to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in a £10m deal but the club are aiming for at least £20m. The 22-year-old made 29 appearances for the Gunners last season but has yet to feature this campaign due to an ankle injury.
The Athletic report that Arsenal have to make a significant decision on the young strikers future given that his contract expires next summer.
Brighton enquired about the possibility of including Nketiah in the deal that saw Ben White move to North London but Arsenal were reluctant.
Crystal Palace have now stepped in are prepared to offer around £10m for the striker as Vieira continues to reinforce his squad.
An unnamed team in Germany are also reportedly interested in Nketiah but have seen two approaches knocked back as Arsenal attempt to achieve a price of around £20 million.
Nketiah scored six times in 29 appearances across all competitions in 2020-21 and has a total of 13 goals in 65 games since breaking into the first team.
