Barcelona have reportedly offered Arsenal Philippe Coutinho as part of a deal for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese international failed to feature for the Gunners in their 2-0 loss to Brentford last week, with no clear reason given for his absence.
Speculation in the press has linked both Aubameyang and teammate Alexandre Lacazette with a move away from the club this summer.
Sky Sports now report that La Liga side Barcelona have an interest in Auba and would be prepared to offer them Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho as part of a deal.
Barcelona are currently £1.15 billion in debt and would be unable to offer a sizeable amount in transfers fees, but its thought the inclusion of Coutinho would help bring down the cost of a potential deal.
Aubameyang signed a new three-year contract last year, but has failed to replicate the form that saw him score 29 goals in all competitions in 2019-20.
