Arsenal to offer Lacazette new contract

Arsenal could offer striker Alexandre Lacazette a new two-year contract following his recent run of good form. The 30-year-old is out of contract in June and talks over a new deal have stalled.

Initial reports suggested that the French striker wanted a long-term renewal while Arsenal were only offering a year extension.

TeamTalk report that the Gunners will offer Lacazette a two-year contract extension on the back of his recent run of form.

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang remains frozen out of the first team and Eddie Nketiah will likely leave on a free.

According to TeamTalk, Lacazette is open to the renewal as he wants to remain and likes playing under Mikel Arteta.
