Arsenal have made an official enquiry to Inter about the availability of their Argentine striker Lautaro Martínez. The Gunners are making a number of key signings and are in the market for a new forward, having recently been linked with Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham.
The Daily Telegraph now report that Arsenal have made an enquiry to Inter about 23-year-old Martinez who won the Serie A title last season.
Despite the interest, Inter are reportedly determined to keep Martinez and would like to tie him down to a new contract, given he has just two years left on his existing deal.
Arsenal are also looking to tie up deals for Sheffield United’s Aaron Ramsdale while Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli and Wolves’ Ruben Neves remain targets for the midfield.
Meanwhile, Brighton defender Ben White is expected to complete his Arsenal medical tomorrow ahead of a £50m transfer, making him Arsenal’s 4th most expensive signing.
