Arsenal are among the clubs interested in Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodríguez this summer, according to reports from Spain and Italy.
With Granit Xhaka close to a move to Roma and Lucas Torreira expected to leave as well in the coming weeks, The Gunners are linked with a host of defensive midfielders.
With that in mind, Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca di Marzio reports that Arsenal are now looking to Guido Rodríguez as a possible option this summer.
According to the Italian transfer journalist, Betis need to make sales this summer and are asking for at least €30m for Rodríguez.
It follows on from previous reports earlier in the summer where Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reported that The Gunners are closely following the Argentine international, although the price-tag was presumed to be higher then.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a strong season for Los Verdiblancos, helping them to a 5th place finish while scoring 2 goals in 38 appearances.
