Arsenal are being linked with Alexander Isak and Jonathan David while a move for Dusan Vlahovic would be difficult. The Gunners are in the market for a new striker given the uncertainty of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.
Aubameyang hasn’t featured in almost a month, while both Nketiah and Lacazette have contracts that are due to expire next summer.
The Athletic report that the futures of Lacazette and Nketiah would need to be resolved before the Gunners look to sign a new number nine.
Of the players linked, Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic is ‘exciting’ the fans, but he would take ‘a lot of convincing from Arsenal to come to the Emirates.’
Alongside, Alexander Isak and Jonathan David have both been ‘of longest-standing interest’ to Arsenal, but moves for either may also be tricky.
Isak recently signed a new deal at Real Sociedad while David’s club Lille are through to the last 16 of the Champions League round of 16, so the pursuit of either player may have to wait until the summer.
